I’ve grown increasingly passionate about website design and feel that a well-designed website is critical for any business. Not only should the website showcase who you are, but also be easy to use for both you AND your customer. I can build everything from simple one- or two-page website to multi-page solutions with integrated shopping carts and event calendars.

All of my websites are built using WordPress, the leading open source content management system. What this means is that YOU are able to easily edit your website with no html/coding knowledge or fancy software. I build my sites to be accessible and compliant for all website browsers using the latest web standards. In addition, all my websites are built to be responsive, which means they respond to the viewer’s device, whether that be a desktop, a table, or a smartphone. There is no need for separate websites for mobile users; your website responds instantly!

I also build my websites with blog functionality, low-level search engine optimization (SEO) and the latest security plugins to keep your website secure.

WEBMASTER SERVICE

So now you’ve got a fantastic new WordPress website, but find that you’re too busy to keep it fresh with up-to-date content. I provide webmaster services for anyone (whether I build your site, or not). You send me your updates and I’ll get them live ASAP. Your site doesn’t need to be in WordPress, either. I provide webmaster service for websites built in any platform.

WEBSITE SECURITY & MAINTENANCE

It’s an unfortunate reality that all websites at some time or another will undergo an attack from digital spammers/hackers. They can range from simple spam link injection to completely erasing your entire site. WordPress is an incredibly powerful and popular website content management system and with that comes the spammers and hackers. Fortunately, WordPress has literally hundreds of helpful security plugins and measures to keep the hackers away from your site, but it is up to YOU to keep your website software and plugins updated.

But what if you don’t have time to keep your site maintained and backed up? I provide a cost-effective website maintenance service that includes weekly backups of your website database and files, as well as keeping all plugins and WordPress core up-to-date. So should the unthinkable happen, we can have your site back up and running quickly with no loss of data or search engine de-ranking.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE:

  • Weekly backup of website database and all files
  • Weekly (at the very least) login to update WP core, plugins, and themes
  • Extra security that notifies me of any change on the site or filesystem.
  • No cost in getting your site back up and running if compromised.
  • Cost: $600/year, paid yearly.
