Spring Training E-Blast
Overview & Challenge
While working at VisitTucson (previously the Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau) I designed this e-blast was to promote Major League Baseball spring training games. It was a huge success, and we saw an increase in ticket sales through this email. The blast needed to be eye-catching and immediately apparent that the viewer could purchase tickets to various spring training games.
This was created in the early years of e-mail marketing, so it was vital that the e-blast be coded correctly so it would display well across a number of email systems as well as various web browsers. It couldn’t be too complicated or image-heavy due to limited customer bandwidth.
The Spring Training logo was created by another staff graphic designer. It also was designed before VisitTucson’s rebranding campaign.
Audience
Global audience that had subscribed to VisitTucson to receive marketing communications, based on their interests. This e-blast was sent to those who were interested in Tucson sports, specifically spring training.
