American Public Works Association Logo
Overview & Challenge
As Senior Designer, I was heavily involved in the complete organization rebranding of the American Public Works Association (APWA). As part of the rebranding, we were tasked to update the original logo to be more modern while still maintaining visual recognition with the legacy logo. The logo was designed to be used with and without the new tagline.
The new logo was widely accepted and liked, but the biggest challenge was getting all 64 national chapters to begin utilizing the logo educating “non-creative” people to follow our branding guidelines.

All national and international chapters of the American Public Works Association.
