Frequently Asked Questions

Below are a few of the more frequently asked questions regarding my services, website management and my personal life. I am happy to answer any question you might have, so don’t hesitate to contact me.

Q: Do you provide digital marketing services like advanced SEO and Pay-Per-Click?
A: No, I do not. While my website services come with basic SEO that will help get your site found by search engines, I do not have the experience or the time to provide internet marketing solutions. If you are in need of this, I am happy to refer you to a number of great, local companies that can help you.

Q: My cousin/daughter/son/neighbor designed my logo. Can you use it in my project?
A: Yes, I can. However, depending on how the logo was originally created and provided to me, I may have to rebuild it to use. This will most likely add an additional cost to your project, which I will discuss with you before we begin.

Q: Can you oversee my Facebook/Twitter/Social Media page for me?
A: No, I can’t. I am more than happy to help you design material FOR your various social media outlets, but I don’t have the resources to manage your account(s).

Q: Do you provide website hosting?
A: No, I do not. You will need to find your own hosting and domain services. I can help (and have many times) helped my clients set up hosting and domain accounts, transferred domains from other hosts, etc. But I do not host websites myself. I will also need access to your hosting company when setting up your website.

Q: You grew up in the 1980’s. Did you have a killer mullet, wear acid-washed denim, and listen to hair-metal bands?
A: Yes, yes I did.

Q: I have a project I need turned around ASAP. Can you help?
A: Probably. If I’ve got the time, I’ll gladly help. If not, I’ll be honest and say no.

Q: I have a small budget. Can you work with me?
A: Let’s talk. I can’t call myself a designer for personal and small businesses if I don’t understand budget issues. That being said, I can’t and won’t undersell my services.

Q: Will you trade design work for services?
A: Maybe. I actually have traded services with a past client, and it was mutually beneficial. They needed a website and I needed work done on my house. But it doesn’t always work out so mutually beneficial. Let’s talk!

Q: You like to mountain bike. Have you broken any bones?
A: Yes. It hurts to crash. I don’t like doing it.
